Title:Clinical Secretary - Sheridan, WY
Location:Sheridan, Wyoming

Job Summary
The Clinical Secretary is responsible for performing secretarial/receptionist duties as directed by the Executive Assistant.  To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, to include:

- Coordinate routine correspondence and communications, entering data and/or preparing correspondence, reports, etc.

- Greet, screen, and schedule clients according to need and assignment, and in accordance with the identified process in the office, to include assessment and collection of fees and explanaton of applicable agency policies

- Prepare receipts for payments, performing various accounts receivable functions related to client accounts

- Assist with billing and insurance claims as needed

- Prepare and submit data, reports, deposits, and vouchers as directed, and according to established schedules and deadlines

- Establish and maintain clinical records, including the appropriate closing of files

- Assist in the monitoring of security practices, timely flow of data and reports, and destruction of records

- Assure compliance with all agency policies and procedures

- Assist in monitoring routine maintenance for building and property and present needs to Executive Assistant or designee

- Assist, as directed, in inventory and ordering of office and program supplies and equipment as approved by the Executive Assistant.

- Demonstrate flexible scheduling to meet needs of the organization and the County office served

- Assure the application of, and adherence to, all safety standards and requirements of the agency

- Understand and apply the principles of diversity in all interactions with office personnel, clients, and the general public

- Maintain confidentiality in all interactions related to the agency, i.e., any records or client related information

- Assure availability to actively participate in staff meetings, agency meetings, scheduled supervision, and performance review processes

Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications include a high school diploma, or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years secretarial work experience.  Applicants must be proficient in basic computer programs, and willing to learn electronic records system applications.

Hours:Average approximately 40 hours per week. Schedule is generally Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with some evening group coverage required.
